COSMIC DUST & ZODIACAL CLOUD SCIENCES

Cosmic Dust & Zodiacal Cloud Sciences

My main research is in the collisional processes by dust grains in Solar System. My Dissertation topic is "Study of collisional processes in Solar Sytem and impact ejecta from small bodies". I performed impact experiments onto regolith-like targets, and then use newly obtained data to study the dynamics of dust grains. Recently, I have been interested in Edgeworth-Kuiper Belt objects. In order to investigate dust grains produced by these objects, I will perform new impact experiments onto icy targets. In addition, I would like to study physical processes of interstellar dust in molecular cloud, although I have no idea to investigate it now.
