This is in response to your e-mail message dated 6 Oct. I first must
apologize for the lengthy time I have taken to respond. It has been
very busy here and also with the flu season many worker have been
out sick. We do plan to make a CD-ROM containing the ETOPO5 data base. 
It will hopefully be ready in jan/feb. 

Any data purchased from our office is public domain data and not 
under any copyright. Therefore you can do anything with it you want. 
We do discourage for you to resell the data.
We hope you use it to enhance other data / projects and give our 
office a credit line for where they may purchase the data. 

Please contact us again with any other questions and I will try to 
respond in a more timely manner.
