With dcpam4, the numerical calculation of decaying turbulence on a rotating sphere on a rotating sphere are performed.
Test experiments of synchronously rotating planet
With dcpam3, numerical experiments on atmospheric response
to equatorial thermal forcing are performed.
A benchmark calculation proposed by Held and Suarez(1994).
This test evaluates the dynamical core of DCPAM.
